Remembering, Standing, Looking Forward

This week, the war with Iran has continued to intensify, with ongoing missile fire and regional escalation, including attacks from Hezbollah from Lebanon. The situation remains serious and fast-moving, with Israeli communities once again under threat.

We mourn the lives lost in Israel over the past week, as civilians continue to bear the cost of these attacks and families across the country face unimaginable grief.

At the same time, it is precisely in moments like these that our community comes together. As we look ahead to Yom Hazikaron and Yom Ha’atzmaut, we are reminded of the resilience, sacrifice and enduring spirit that define Israel and the Jewish people.

We encourage everyone to join us at these important communal moments – both to honour, and to celebrate, together.

An Evening with Ben Carasso

Last night, 11-year-old Ben Carasso shared what it is like to grow up in Israel after October 7 – living with sirens, shelters, and uncertainty while still trying to hold onto a normal childhood. He gave voice to Israeli children, speaking about kidnapped families, loss, and resilience, and explaining the reality in clear, simple terms. We thank Ben for joining us all the way from Israel.
