From Exodus to Now
Dear Community,
Pesach is not just a story of freedom. It is a story about movement. About a people who stepped forward. Matzah reminds us that freedom begins in action, not in waiting.
That thread runs through Jewish history. We endured not because the world made space for us, but because we carried our identity forward and chose our direction. “Next year in Jerusalem” was never just ritual, it was a statement that our future was ours to shape.
Today, we are no longer only looking ahead. With Israel, that future is lived in real time, and it is being tested in real time. As tensions escalate with Iran and threats grow from Hezbollah in Lebanon, we are reminded that Jewish sovereignty is not just symbolic; it is something that must be defended.
When antizionism rises, it challenges more than a state. It challenges the idea of a people living on its own terms, no longer waiting for permission. Pesach reminds us that our story has never been about waiting. It has been about stepping forward, even in uncertainty.
We are the inheritors of that decision. And we continue to carry it.
Chag Sameach
