On Sunday evening, Toorak Shule was filled to capacity as the community came together to honour the 1,200 people who were murdered on October 7, 2023 and over 250 hostages taken that day.

The Victorian Jewish community came out in force for Israel this week, with over 10,000 people flocking to Zionism Victoria’s Yom Ha’atzmaut Family Festival.

A capacity crowd had filled Torah Shule for Zionism Victoria’s annual Yom Hazikaron commemoration.
