What They Do
Kehilat Nitzan is Melbourne’s first and only Masorti (Conservative) synagogue, combining traditional Jewish practice with egalitarian inclusion, prayer, study and community life. They offer regular Shabbat and festival services, lifelong learning (shiurim), and cultural events that bring Torah, community and spiritual growth together. True to Masorti values, men and women participate equally in worship, and the community emphasises warm welcome, social action and a shared commitment to Jewish identity and values.
