AJMF – A Zionism Victoria Affiliate
The Australasian Jewish Medical Federation (AJMF) is the Australian Chapter of the Israeli Medical Association.
What they do
The AJMF is a group of Jewish medical and paramedical professionals and students. The AJMF promotes fellowship, ethical behavior, exchange of knowledge and networking between their members and like-minded colleagues in Australia and Israel.
As a not for profit fundraising organisation, they distribute funds from memberships and subscriptions for:
Scholarships to further educational opportunities for students and graduates exchanging between Australia and Israel.
Medical research for both organisations and individuals.
Purchasing clinical medical equipment when needed for use in projects involving significant Australasian participation in Israel or vice versa.

Membership of the AJMF is open to Australian Jewish Doctors.
Associate membership is available for retired Doctors, Allied Health professionals, nurses/paramedics and Medical Students.
Membership is for the financial year, 1 July to 30 June.

AJMF (VIC) offers a limited number of scholarships for Israeli doctors undertaking post Fellowship training in Australia. Applications are considered twice a year.
