Yesterday, we hosted a group of McKinnon Secondary College Year 10 students as part of our Connecting Cultures Program.
The students interviewed Zionism Victoria’s staff and volunteers about their immigration experience. Moving to Melbourne from all the ends of the world including South Africa, Poland, Russia and China from the 40s to 2000s, the talks and tales from the past and present helped the students to understand what it takes to start a new life in a different country.
We appreciate the time given by our storytellers and thank McKinnon Secondary College students and teachers for their interest in our community.
