Jean Katzen joins our community governing body with a wide-ranging background as a Senior Executive in the fields of Advertising, Marketing and Media both in New Zealand and South Africa. In addition, she has held the position of Executive Director of the Women’s International Zionist Organisation (WIZO) Victoria for the past eight years.

She commenced her new role during Pesach and has joined Zionism Victoria at a very busy time as our organisation hosts Yom Ha’atzmaut and Yom Ha’zikaron for the Melbourne community.

Jean has been eager to get her feet under the desk and assist with the initiation of these and other programmes and events for the 2017 year.

“I am thrilled to be joining Zionism Victoria, where I can contribute to the vibrant Jewish community and foster communication between Israel and Victoria helping our future generations to become and remain involved in all aspects of our community,” said Jean.
