The community is invited to attend the exclusive Australian launch of Rabbi Dov Lipman’s latest book; An ‘American’ MK, Behind the scenes in the 19th Knesset. Rabbi Lipman served as a member of Israel’s 19th Knesset as a member of the Yesh Atid party and will provide a behind the scenes look at the inner workings of the Knesset as the first American born MK in 30 years.
Rabbi Lipman is now Director of Public Diplomacy at the World Zionist Organization and will be in Melbourne as a guest of the Zionist Federation of Australia’s (ZFA) Educator’s Conference.
The book launch will be hosted by Zionism Victoria, the ZFA, the Lamm Jewish Library of Australia (LJLA) and the World Zionist Organization. It will take place at the LJLA (304 Hawthorn Road, Caulfield South) on 21 August 2016 at 4.00pm. Admission is $10 per person.
