GENERAL INFORMATION AND BOOKING CONDITIONS

International touring can involve a considerable amount of walking and stair climbing in some places visited, and it is important that all tour participants have a level of fitness that allows them to take part in these activities without the need of assistance from others.

TOUR OPERATOR: Israel Experts, a recognised tour company in Israel

DEPOSIT AND PAYMENT: A deposit of $1500 per person should be sent with a completed booking form.  As soon as the booking is confirmed a confirmation advice will be sent to the client. In the event of the package being sold out, the deposit will be returned to the client. Balance of tour costs less deposit MUST be paid to the Zionist Council of Victoria (ZCV) no later than 31 August 2015.

A 2.5% administration fee will be added to payments by Visa, Mastercard or Amex. A direct deposit into the account of Zionist Council of Victoria BSB 033152 Account number 990745 is an alternative form of payment with no administration fee.

CANCELLATION CHARGES:      

Bookings once confirmed may be cancelled on or before 31 August 2015 by notice in writing. All sums paid will be refunded save for a $500 cancellation fee and any credit card administration fees paid. 

Cancellations or no shows on or after 1 September 2015 will forfeit all monies paid.

Unutilised service refund: The tour is based on arrangements which do not allow for any refunds in respect to sightseeing, accommodation, meals or any other services not utilised after the tour has commenced.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: Israel does not require Australian passport holders to obtain a Visa for stays of less than 3 months. All passengers will require a valid passport with at least 6 months validity from date of return to Australia. If not an Australian passport holder, please check your Visa requirements with your travel agent.

TRAVEL INSURANCE: Adequate travel insurance is compulsory to cover passengers for the consequences of unforeseen events during the tour and for cancellation fees which could result from events such as illness, accident, death etc. Your travel agent is able to assist you with the purchase of travel insurance. We will require a copy of your travel insurance policy. We reserve the right to refuse travel without insurance.

BAGGAGE: One suitcase per person plus one hand luggage has been allocated for touring. Airline baggage policies apply to your independently arranged flights to and from Israel.

MINIMUM TOUR NUMBERS: These tour arrangements have been made on the basis of a minimum number of passengers travelling. In the event that less than the required number of passengers have confirmed their booking by 31 August 2015, the Zionist Council of Victoria reserves the right to cancel the tour and will provide a full refund of all monies paid in that event.

RESPONSIBILITIES: ZCV is the tour organiser. ZCV, its agents, officers, affiliates and/or suppliers of services pursuant to, or in connection with this tour, shall act only as agents in making arrangements for hotels, transportation, restaurants or any other service and do not assume any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, death, loss, accident or delay to person or property due to an act of negligence or a default of any hotel, carrier, restaurant, company or person rendering any services or by act of God.  Further, no responsibility is accepted for any damage or delay due to sickness, pilferage, labour disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, government restraints, weather, terrorism or other causes beyond their control. No responsibility is accepted for any additional expense, omission, delays, re-routing or acts of any government authority. Baggage is at owner’s risk throughout the tour.
