The Yom Ha’atzmaut Concert has long been one of Melbourne’s most important communal events, offering members of the community the opportunity to celebrate Israel’s independence and culture at some of Melbourne’s most prestigious venues, including Vodafone Arena and Hamer Hall.

In 2014, for the first time, this fun-filled musical extravaganza will be held at the beautiful Melbourne Recital Centre (melbournerecital.com.au).

YOU may be the next talent to be unveiled at the 2014 Yom Ha’atzmaut celebrations, to be held on the night of May 5. We are primarily looking for vocalists, but we are delighted to consider other special talents that might suit our celebrations.

If you are interested in participating in this exciting community event, please send an email to the Concert Coordinator, Eileen Freed (efreed@zionismvictoria.org.au).  The email should include:

– your contact details – download this form or email the information requested directly,
– a 2-minute YouTube video link (or links) showing your performance. If it is a vocal performance, you should include at least one video of you singing in Hebrew (all music in the concert is performed in Hebrew).

Audition videos may also be posted in the auditions event on the Zionist Council of Victoria’s facebook page.

All audition videos must be received by close of business, Friday 1 December.
