Tribute to Rabbi Yitzchok Groner from SZCV President, Dr Danny Lamm

Rabbi Yitzchok Groner, of blessed memory, was the outstanding rabbinical figure in Melbourne over the last 50 years – orator, teacher, builder, friend.

He didn’t wait to provide pastoral care; he offered it to anyone who needed support.

Committed to Israel and the Jewish people, he truly observed the dictum “Kol Israel Arevim Ze L’Ze”.

Rabbi Groner will be sorely missed but his legacy will live on through those that he taught, mentored and supported.
