Celebrating Yom Ha’atzmaut 07 – “Beyachad – Together” Back At the Arts Centre

This year’s Yom Ha’atzmaut Community Concert is a not to be missed event. A fabulous 18-piece orchestra, stunning repertoire of traditional and modern Israeli music, three amazing Israeli artists and well-known local artists are just a few of the features you will be treated to at the 59th celebration for Israel’s independence.

For this year’s Concert on Monday night April 23, the State Zionist Council has returned the Concert to Hamer Hall, at the Arts Centre. Ginette Searle, SZC Executive Director comments, “We are thrilled to invite the community back to the Arts Centre, a venue that invokes a more traditional performance feel, is intimate and very accessible. Seating is limited, so we are encouraging community members who have not yet reserved their tickets to do so as early as possible. We are anticipating a sell-out.”

As well as the return to the popular venue, the evening will be a show not only of talent but of solidarity. Under the theme of “Beyachad – Together”, the SZC and its musical, audio-visual and stage team have created an evening of authentic and entertaining song and dance, together with a few surprises.

“The Concert will really be a reflection of the amazing melting pot that Israel has become, showcasing all the different segments of the country, be visually appealing and set the unique atmosphere of Yom Ha’atzmaut. The audience will feel connected with Israel and each other for this very special celebration” added SZC President Dr Danny Lamm.
