General volunteering

Israel Advocacy
No matter what your specific skill, each and every one of us is able to involve ourselves in creating a positive image for Israel . Whether it be exercising our democratic rights in ensuring governmental awareness of Israel ‘s interests and those of the Jewish community or ensuring a fair and balanced media, we are all able to make a difference. It is our duty.

Public Speaking
In order to keep our community informed on various aspects of Israel and Judaism, the ZCV holds public forums, seminars and lectures to a broad range of community and school groups. Fundraising
There are many organisations in Melbourne raising funds for a variety of worthwhile causes and projects in Israel . There are many opportunities for involvement in these organisations.

Buy Israeli
Buy Israeli products wherever possible. Include Israeli items in every supermarket shop. Find Israeli gifts for Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, weddings and other smachot. Click here to view the “Buy Israeli” register. Contact zcv@zionismvictoria.org.au if you would like to add your company to the register.
